Dear Marcher, 

It all begins with an idea, but the hardest challenge can be figuring out where to start. Throughout my early career, whether in International Affairs, conducting research on emerging social movements in the African Diaspora or as an operator building for Gen Z - I became deeply concerned by the lack of representation and informational access around growth in emerging markets.

The value chain was often economic, neglecting the significance of cultural impact as a vehicle for sustainable investment.

I’ve always felt like there was something that could be done to cultivate this space within the wider African Diaspora, a way to hone our conversation while bridging opportunities where our creative economies are propelled to greater heights. 

What has helped me most on this journey is - community. That is why I created this platform where I’m excited to combine my experiences from across commercial banking, venture capital and the broader startup ecosystem, whether from raising capital and developing startups to advising you in your earliest stages of growth. 

Together we can own the uncertain future but immense potential of development, all the while centering the value of where we call home.
